Building My AI + Performance Marketing Website With AI
I didn't originally plan to build a website just for the sake of having a website. I wanted somewhere to document what I was learning.
As I started working on Google Ads, Meta Ads, analytics and AI-assisted workflows, I realized that a portfolio could show more than a list of skills. It could show how I actually think about the work.
Why I wanted my own website
A resume can say "Google Ads", "Meta Ads", "GA4", "GTM". But those words don't explain how I used them.
I wanted a place where I could document actual practice projects and explain what happened. That is why the Blog is an important part of this website.
AI helped me build it
I used AI-assisted development while working on the website. That helped me move faster when creating page structures, thinking through layouts, troubleshooting code and experimenting with visual ideas.
It also gave me an opportunity to learn something outside advertising. I had to think about:
- page structure
- navigation
- responsive design
- forms
- SEO
- metadata
- internal links
- accessibility
- performance
- hosting
So the website itself became another learning project. The same principle applied here as in my campaigns: AI helped me move faster, but I still had to check the result, which is the point I make in how I use AI while learning performance marketing.
The website is still a work in progress
I don't want to present this website as a finished professional agency website. It's my personal portfolio and learning space. I'll continue improving it as I gain more experience.
That is also why I want the Blog to contain real experiments rather than generic articles written just to make the website look larger.
